About Kimberly A. Houser
Kimberly A. Houser has been preparing Wills and Trusts for over 20 years.
Kimberly graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1987 where she earned an Am Jur Award in Trial Advocacy, and won the Rickert Award for Clinical Legal Education. In addition to Kimberly Houser Law, she has also worked for such law firms as Rudnick & Wolfe n/k/a DLA Piper in Chicago, and Thompson & Knight in Dallas. Her practice focuses on helping individuals and businesses with their legal needs. In addition to her estate planning practice, Kimberly also provides legal services to small and large businesses.
Kimberly is a mom and knows how important it is to plan for the future. In her practice she has discovered that the reason many parents delay having their wills done is because of their uncertainty in choosing a guardian. Unfortunately, by failing to make your own decision, you will force a court to make it on your behalf and the court may not have all of the information that you do about your family members. Kimberly has guided many families through the process of making the best choice for their children.
Kimberly also know how important it is to address the unique needs of each family. A boilerplate will never works for anyone. Your individual situation calls for a personalized estate plan. Her goal is your satisfaction and peace of mind.
She also values your time. By permitting you to submit your information online, you do not have to schedule an appointment nor worry that you left an important document at home. Kimberly has crafted her estate planning intake form after drafting wills and trusts for over 20 years to make sure that no information is left out. Because of the virtual nature of her firm, she is able to communicate with you much more frequently both by phone and email. Because her overhead is low, she is able to pass on the cost savings to you.

"I was nervous about having estate planning done because I didn't know anything about it. Kim talked me through the whole process and thoroughly answered my questions. She created the documents and got them to me in a very timely manner. She included a detailed memo so I could get the documents notarized and witnessed correctly. This is a huge burden off of my mind. I would highly recommend Kim to anyone needing assistance with estate planning."
